The BTCNE had our Holiday Party on December 11th, 2011 at Tails U Win in Manchester, CT. Hordes of people (OK, maybe not hordes but it was close to 30) were in attendance and the kids really got involved acting as judges for our contests and running our raffle.
After a Board and General Meeting we had great pizza (Buffalo Chicken, a White Pizza with Prosciutto, another with Sausage, Ricotta and Spinach and several more) and salads provided by the club and a huge array of desserts brought by the members. We had a Bully Grab where the dogs got to choose their own presents, and we learned a trick to make sure bullies picked your gift (a cookie in the bottom of the bag helps!)
We had a photo session with Santa and several contests:

Our judge, 8 year
old Maggie Thompson, handled her duties beautifully instructing the dogs to parade
in front of her and try their best. The proceedings were assisted by our
ten-year-old steward, Bristol Ralston who also ran our raffle.
Between the Sales table and the Raffle the club raised just under $600. Board member Sharon McGee brought a gigantic box of raw meaty bones so everyone could bring one home for their doggie as a treat for the holidays. We had some new BT owners drive up from NYC and others came from all over New England. Thank you to everyone you came and participated.
